Fanbox does a lot for us members of the world community here,
but what has FanBox done for me?
How Has Fanbox helped my life?
To show FanBox just how much I appreciated what they have done
for me , I wanted to do something for them. What can you do for
FanBox? That was a tough one, how to show my appreciation?
I went out on the web and found a news report on Fanbox by
PRWEB and suprisingly enough- there was 0 comments.
So to show FanBox my appreciation in my own small way.

People expect to connect to other people on a social network. They don't expect to be able to support their favorite charitable causes and earn real money while doing it. FanBox created a social network that does that in a one-of-a-kind platform.

Charity work has always been important to FanBox CEO Mike Pousti, whether it is volunteering time to serve food at a homeless shelter or devoting time to raise money for various charities, he is very concerned with giving back. Now, this passion has given birth to a social network that gives back to its members and supports charities.
"FanBox.com was developed to give people a way to share their knowledge, have a social network, and also earn real money for what they know," said Pousti. "Combining a social network with a way to support charities as well as rewarding human beings around the globe for doing that is a complete win-win situation."
FanBox has evolved as a way for people to do everything that they expect to be able to do on a social network. Activities such as posting statuses, sharing photos, and sending posts members “like” to Facebook or Twitter. However that is where the similarities end. FanBox gives members money for their participation in the Knowledge Roles.
Curious about what a Knowledge Role is?
Pousti explains, "Each Knowledge Role was developed to give the user the benefit of earning money for themselves as well as the charity of their choosing. All of the Knowledge Roles benefit the community of FanBox. Bloggers can blog about their favorite subjects and earn money for the time others spend enjoying posts. For individuals that do not want to blog, they can contribute by offering services such as dog walking that other users purchase. Users can sell items or even set up their own storefronts in the Provide section, with a portion of each sale benefiting the FanBox community."
When a new user joins FanBox, they are offered a choice of charitable venues to support, which they can change at will. Diverse charities across a spectrum of interests are supported such as animals rights, the arts, education, environmental causes and dozens more. All of the earnings are matched in charitable donations. “Most of our users have a cause they are passionate about helping” states Pousti.
Pousti hopes as FanBox continues its steady growth, it will cause members of other social networks to demand a way to benefit from their knowledge and help the world be a better place or they will switch social networks. "The time is now to stand up and use technology to improve the world and FanBox is a great place for people to start".

Renu Kakkar is employed as an Under Secretary in the Ministry of Finance at New Delhi. She is also a Reiki Master. She belongs to Dharmshala in the beautiful state of Himachal Pradesh. Her early education was at the Sacred Heart Convent School, Dharmshala, schooling was in Chingola, Zambia, where her father was working as an Educationist. Graduation and Post Graduation were from Dharmshala and Shimla respectively. She has visited Ethiopia, Nairobi in Kenya and Aden in Yemen during her childhood. She visited the U.K. in 1996 and Sweden in 1999 in connection with her Job trainings.
This is her first book. This book is based on a short bed time story she made up for her children 5 years ago. Her children, both boys, now aged 12 years and 10 years, inspired her to write the short story as a full fledged book for the benefit of children all over the world.
